Marketing Design

About the Project

The Center for the Performing Arts in Carmel, Indiana wanted various marketing materials that reflected their brand and sub-brands. They wanted designs that were modern and fresh to be used towards their younger demographic. These included name badges, a program, and several logos for their summer projects.

Design Strategy

Instructions for each project were loose with the only directions being to use circles when possible for a youthful appearance and to follow brand guidelines. For the logos I wanted to easily visualize what each program represented while using brand colors to keep them distinct. The badge designs I wanted to keep simple to maximize white space while including all necessary text. For the program I leaned heavily into the use of circles mixing a variety of sizes and opacities to keep the design interesting and used typography to my advantage.
